Please stop calling empathy a “soft skill.”
Gone are the days when success was defined by how quickly we climb to the top. More than ever, people want connection, harmony, optimism, and understanding. They’re finally demanding it.
It’s time to teach our leaders that there’s nothing soft about being able to put yourself in another person’s shoes. It’s actually one of the hardest things to do. And the hardest thing and the right thing are usually the same.
Let us look at skills like empathy, positivity, and adaptability as the foundation for success. Not a barrier to it. Always empathy > experience.
